Ginger Snap Cookies

Makes 24 cookies
Ingredients
¾ cup softened butter
1 cup and 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
¼ cup molasses
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
2 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 ½ teaspoons ground ginger
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions
In a large bowl beat butter and sugar until fully combined. Then mix in molasses, egg, and vanilla. Set aside.
In a medium bowl sift the flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and ground nutmeg.
Using a hand mixer mix the dry ingredients into the wet ones. Once combined, refrigerate for at least 1 hour and at most 3 days.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking sheet.
Take dough out of the fridge, Using a ¼ - cup, scoop the cookies onto the lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart to leave room to bake.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes. Let cool before eating and Enjoy!
