When you are freezing your dough and decide you want to bake it, give your dough about 1 hour to thaw. Then bake dough in your oven per the recipes instructions.

Already Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you are freezing the already baked chocolate chip cookies first you need to make sure your cookies are completely cooled. Once your cookies are completely cool wrap in foil or plastic wrap and place in an airtight container and put in your freezer. Your cookies can last up to 4-5 months in your freezer. When you are ready to finally eat your cookies take them out of the freezer and give them 2 hours to thaw. If you would like to speed up the process you can place the frozen cookies into your microwave for 30 seconds each.
